One night his coat was stolen and he didn’t have the money at that moment to replace it. A generous customer, who also happened to own the well-regarded Speier Jewelry Company pitched in with sufficient funds to get Kasoff a new coat that night.

Lisner Vintage Jewelry was made by the D. Lisner Co. from 1938 to 1979. The Lisner Company was founded in 1904 and imported and sold Schiaparelli jewelry in the United States. In 1970, Lisner and Richelieu merged. In 1979 Lisner was acquired by Victoria & Co. and they ceased to use the Lisner name on their jewelry.
